Meet the creators of the new graphic novel series, Terra Tempo, at Powell’s Books, Cedar Hills Crossing, on June 11th, 2011
David Shapiro, Erica Melville and Christopher Herndon, creators of the new graphic novel Terra Tempo: Ice Age Cataclysm! will appear for a book signing and Ice Age Flood talk at Powell’s Cedar Hills Crossing on Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m.
The Terra Tempo series begins by uncovering one of the greatest mysteries of the Pacific Northwest, the Ice Age Floods. The first book, Terra Tempo: Ice Age Cataclysm!, is a story told through the eyes of three young adventurers who find a magic map that sends them back 15,000 years to the end of the last Ice Age. They encounter prehistoric friends and foes and witness the great Missoula Floods, the largest floods to have ever washed over the face of the Earth.
The team will talk about their inspiration behind making the graphic novel series, and share some of the incredible landscapes left behind by the flood’s massive destruction more than 13,000 years ago. Children who attend will receive a FREE Terra Tempo coloring book with proof of Terra Tempo purchase.
Powell’s Books at Cedar Hills Crossing is located at 3415 SW Cedar Hills Blvd., Beaverton, Ore. This event begins at 2:00 p.m.
