Craigmore Creations is proud to announce: The Right Where You Are Now Science and Literature Educational Video Series.
Craigmore Creations, an independent children’s book publisher located in Portland, Oregon, is launching a video series to inspire engagement with science and literature. This initiative exists to encourage readers to become stewards of our planet.
The first three videos of the new web series by Craigmore Creations spotlight public figures from the community. Lisa Sedlar from New Seasons Markets, Mike Houck of the Urban Greenspaces Institute and Claire L. Evans of the band Y.A.C.H.T each read a segment of Craigmore’s newest book, Right Where You Are Now, and briefly discuss how science and nature play a part in their work.
Craigmore’s hope is to connect with the citizens of Portland and to inspire local families to become stewards of this amazing planet. These videos will be released on Craigmore’s website, YouTube, Vimeo and FaceBook and will be used to promote education, natural history, Earth science and the changing world.
Future videos in this web series include Kristian Foden-Vencil of Oregon Public Broadcasting, local musician and author Willy Vlautin, Tres Shannon of Voodoo Doughnut and members of the Oregon Environmental Council.
